For the past 23 years, my philosophy of college counseling/educational advising is to provide a detailed and individualized experience to get students and their families through the selective college application process. My commitment to staying informed about the latest trends in college admissions, financial aid, and educational technology, ensures that my guidance remains relevant and effective.
My previous students have gained admissions to several top-tier colleges and universities in the United States, and with my experience have thrived, persisted, and have graduated from their dream school. Encouraging students to explore extracurriculars, leadership roles, and community service, aligning their passions with their academic goals, has helped students own their college admissions process.
My counseling emphasizes honesty and authenticity in applications, to ensure that students present their true selves rather than what they think colleges want to see. Each and every one of the families that I work with receives my complete and individualized attention, so that they are primed for success in the college application process.
I work with students at all levels, particularly setting up students in their junior year to prepare for the stress of applying to college in their senior year. I have extensive experience and dedication working with students from diverse cultural, socio-economic, and educational backgrounds. My strategies have helped to take out as much stress as possible to ensure that students and their families can focus on the integral parts of application season.
